SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH--(Marketwired - Jan 28, 2014) - MultiLing, the innovative leader in intellectual property (IP) translations and related services for foreign patent filings, today announced the appointment of four key sales and marketing professionals to help grow the company's IP services for Global 500 legal teams.

Randy Scott has been named MultiLing's vice president of marketing, while Michael Degn, Barbara Vellone and Matt Goldberg are in sales positions new to the company. Degn assumes the role of vice president of sales operations; Vellone has accepted the position of business development manager, large law firms; and Goldberg will serve as corporate business development manager over the western U.S. region.

Scott is leveraging his two decades of extensive U.S. and international marketing, product management, sales and business development experience. He has a proven track record of increasing sales, market share and profitability for both start-ups and enterprises. In his role at MultiLing, Scott is responsible for the overall strategy and content creation to educate potential clients on MultiLing's services.

Degn brings more than 15 years of sales management experience to his new position. During his career, he developed sales channels for both Microsoft and Adobe's certification programs and established distribution channels on all four major-market continents. In his new role at MultiLing, he will manage all functions essential to sales productivity and will oversee client service objectives, including client acquisition and ongoing account relationship management.

Vellone brings more than 20 years experience in the legal industry helping clients find the right tools for success. She has extensive experience in the patent industry, and has provided legal resources to law firms of every size as well as multinational corporations representing such companies as LexisNexis, CPA Global and Park IP. Vellone was eager to join MultiLing because of its focus on long-term customer relationships. As part of her new role, Vellone will present webinars on best practices and innovations in IP services to help AMLaw 300 law firms reduce risk for their Global 500 enterprise clients.

Goldberg brings 15 years of experience in engineering and legal services to his new role selling MultiLing's IP services to multinational enterprises. He most recently worked with the RWS Group, focusing his attention on EP translations & validations, and translations for PCT national phase entry. Goldberg is a graduate in engineering from the University of Virginia.
