Monthly Wrap-Up: December 2016

In December 2016, the total trading volume on the Ukrainian Exchange fellby 7,68 % and reached UAH 366 236 186 ; the total number of transactions decreased by 15,68 % and hit 10 558.

The total volume on the derivatives market of the Ukrainian Exchange fellby 35,46% and reached UAH 101 406 836 (4 626 contracts); the total number of transactions reached 1 401 decreased is 14,21 % more than in November.

The total trading volume on the securities market reached UAH 264 829 349 (trading volume among shares reached 168 762 738), grew by 40,54 % more than in November. The total number of transactions decreased by 15,90 % and reached 9 157.

At the end of the month, the UX Index calculated by the Ukrainian Exchange fell by 1,53 % from 808,19 to 795,84 points.

At the end of the month, the top sellers were Ministry of finance of Ukraine(UA92611) - UAH 89 306 108, followed by stocks of Centerenergo(CEEN) - UAH 5 707 358 and Raiffeisen Bank Aval(BAVL) - 5 534 076. Their total turnover in shares reached 73,20 %, 4,68 % 4,54 % respectively.
