Route 160 CLOSINGS in Taney County Extended to Jan. 9 Due to Extreme Cold Temps

What: Project to replace deteriorating drain pipes underneath U.S. Route 160 between Rueter and Theodosia extended

Where: Route 160 between Route 125 South east of Rueter and Henson Road west of Taney/Ozark county line

When: 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. until Tuesday, Jan. 9. Route 160 OPEN at all other times. (Crews experiencing delays due to extreme cold temperatures. Excavation is slowed due to frozen ground and cold temps are causing equipment breakdowns.)

Traffic Impacts:

• Route 160 CLOSED where crews are working
• Drivers will have access to entrances and driveways on either side of the work zone, but cannot travel through the work zone
• Drivers urged to find alternate routes during the work

(Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.)
