Manulife Malaysia extends its brand advertising campaign to KL hop-on-hop-off bus... details

Kuala Lumpur - Manulife Malaysia today kicked off a new year of growth by extending its 'For your future' campaign with a new KL hop-on-hop-off tourist bus. The flag-off ceremony for the eye-catching Manulife-themed bus was held on 12 January 2012 at the Malaysia Tourism Centre (MATIC).

Mr. Michael Chan Yui Lung, Group CEO of Manulife Malaysia, officiated at the event and was joined by senior management, employees and agents. "Manulife Financial Corporation will be celebrating its 125th global anniversary this year. The 'For your future' bus campaign will be an important part of our contributions to these celebrations and will further strengthen the Manulife brand in Malaysia." he said.

The 'For your future' campaign, launched late last year, is Manulife Malaysia's first ever brand building campaign and aims to establish brand preference for Manulife among consumers. The campaign features four green cubes inspired by the Manulife logo, each bearing the Company's brand attributes: strong, reliable, trustworthy and forward-thinking.

Manulife Malaysia currently has an extensive network of eight Regional Support Centres and more than 70 agency offices strategically located throughout Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia to serve our customers.

Commenting on the plans for Manulife Malaysia in the coming quarter of 2012, Mr. Chan said, "While sustaining our growth in key areas of Peninsular Malaysia, we also want to increase our presence in the East Malaysian market. In addition to Sibu and Kuching, we have plans to expand our footprint with a new office in Kota Kinabalu in order to extend our lifestyle solutions to Malaysians in Sabah."

Manulife Malaysia currently has approximately 2,100 dedicated agents serving the needs of more than 290,000 policyholders. Moving forward with the plans to open new branches around Malaysia, Mr. Chan added, "In line with the expansion of our branch network, we will be increasing the size of our agency force to cater to the larger customer base. There will be training room facilities equipped in our support centers to provide both entry and advance level professional training to our agents."
