CAMBRIDGE, Mass., May 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The 14(th) Annual MIT Sloan CIO Symposium today announced that David Gledhill, Group Chief Information Officer and Head of Group Technology & Operations at DBS Bank Ltd, is the recipient of the prestigious 2017 MIT Sloan CIO Leadership Award. Over the past decade, the Award has recognized Chief Information Officers (CIOs) who lead their organizations to deliver exemplary levels of business value through innovative use of IT.

He has 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, and prior to joining DBS in 2008, he worked at J.P. Morgan, holding senior regional positions in Technology & Operations. At DBS, he is also the Director of Singapore Clearing House, a member of an IBM Advisory Board and the National Super Computing Centre Steering Committee, and a board advisor to the Singapore Management University School of Information Systems.
