- HD Interactive Base Surpasses 300,000 Rooms -

- More Hotels Upgrading to HD to Satisfy Higher Guest Expectations -

LodgeNet Interactive Corporation (NASDAQ: LNET), the leading provider of interactive media and connectivity services to hospitality and healthcare businesses and the consumers they serve, is announcing that its high-definition interactive television (iHDTV) systems have now surpassed the 300,000 room mark.

"The fourth quarter was our strongest quarter for iHDTV room growth during 2011, surpassing the 300,000 room milestone by year's end," said LodgeNet Chairman and CEO Scott C. Petersen. "With the accelerating adoption of TM, our newest iHDTV platform, the overall size of our iHDTV room base will likely increase by over 30% during 2012 alone."

"We realize a significant increase in revenues when our hotel customers transition to iHDTV," continued Petersen. "For example, our installed iHDTV rooms are generating 60% more revenue than our analog rooms. Hotels are buying more TV programming and guests are buying more on demand entertainment with high-definition systems. Since 80% of our hotel customers have yet to upgrade to iHDTV, this transition represents a great opportunity and solid growth driver for us over the next several years."

Petersen will be presenting today, January 17, 2012 at 12:30 pm EST, at the BOCEMb Noble Financial Capital Markets' Eighth Annual Equity Conference being held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, Florida. A live Webcast of the presentation can be found on the LodgeNet homepage at . Replays will remain available for two weeks after the actual presentation date.
