LiveData, Inc., leading innovator and provider of operational intelligence technology, today announced that Caroline Kipling has joined the company as Principal Engineer. In her position, a new one for the company, Kipling will focus on supporting LiveData's growing customer base in the Utility industry, where she has experience as both a customer and a technology provider.

Kipling comes to LiveData from NSTAR Electric Gas, where she was a senior programmer analyst. With more than 15 years of experience in software design, development, and deployment, her NSTAR responsibilities included the operation, support and maintenance of NSTAR's SCADA applications.

Prior to NSTAR, Kipling worked as software designer with SNC Lavalin, one of the leading engineering and construction groups in the world, where she oversaw the deployment of their EMS implementation which included ICCP communications.

"The addition of Caroline Kipling signals the growing importance of the utility industry to LiveData, and to the country," said LiveData CEO Jeff Robbins. "Technically proficient with proven project management, leadership, and team building skills, Caroline's experience will prove invaluable in our continuing commitment to help our customers deliver operational excellence."

"While my time with larger companies has been instructional and motivating, the opportunity to work with leading-edge integration software in a smaller, fast-moving environment was too good to pass up," said Kipling. "I welcome the opportunity to work with industry leader LiveData."

Utilities worldwide rely on LiveData RTI (Real-Time Integration) to provide intelligence for operations technology systems. The company's software captures real-time data, transforms the data into industry-standard formats such as ICCP, and delivers it to mission-critical applications and visualization displays.
