Kosmopolito Hotels International (KHI) won "Outstanding High-Growth Company (Hotel) 2011" of "Quamnet Outstanding Enterprise Awards"

12 January 2012 - Kosmopolito Hotels International (KHI) was awarded the "Outstanding High-Growth Company (Hotel) 2011" at the recently concluded "Quamnet Outstanding Enterprise Awards" Ceremony.

An annual award event since 2009, the Quamnet Outstanding Enterprise Awards is organized by Quamnet.com, one of the most influential investor-focused financial websites in Hong Kong, and a division of Quam Limited (HKSE: 00952). The objective of the Quamnet Outstanding Enterprise Awards is to recognize and honour businesses that have demonstrated a passion for excellence. It is also an excellent opportunity for the public and investors to become aware of the efforts and achievements of the winning enterprises, which will in turn, enhance the winners' corporate image and goodwill. A total of 12 awards were presented for the different categories of industry this year.

Sharing her view on the award, Ms. Winnie Chiu, the President and Executive Director of KHI, said: "We are delighted to be accorded with this prestigious award. I believe there are three main reasons for us to be regarded as a high-growth company. First, we are able to identify great properties for hotel operations. Second, we have excellent management team to execute the operation of our hotels. Last but not least, we are in touch with what our customers want."

During the six months ended 30 September 2011, compared to the same period of last fiscal year, the overall revenue of KHI reached HK$499.0 million with an increase of 29.9%; and the profit reached HK$94.2 million with an increase of 164.2%.
