Ideas International Anticipates Profit Growth for 2011 Financial Year

Ideas International Limited (IDEAS, ASX:IDE) wishes to advise the market of its expected 2011 full-year performance.

For the year ending 31 December 2011, Ideas International is expecting profit after tax to be between $1,450,000 and $1,600,000 and revenue to be between $8.7 million and $8.8 million.

Stephen Bowhill, CEO commented: "Compared to 2010 profit after tax will be up 22% to 35% from $1,187,558 and revenue up 6% to 7% from $8.234 million. These will be excellent results against the backdrop of uncertain trading conditions and an Australian Dollar which has remained strong throughout the year against our major billing currencies - the US Dollar and the Euro. We continue to diversify our business with growth in our end user and partner business and we are investing in new content areas to strengthen the data-centre focus of our value proposition".

With full year 2011 profit after tax in the range noted above, the after tax earnings arising from the period July to December 2011 (the second half of this financial year) will be between $529,000 and $679,000, an increase of between 19% and 53% respectively, on the $443,000 profit after tax for the same six month period in 2010.
