Halo Smart Labs recently returned from both CES and the International Builders Show, two of the year’s biggest trade shows, toting more than just a big book of new business. Halo Smart Labs was honored at both shows with several prestigious awards for their two smart, connected smoke alarms, Halo and Halo+.

At CES, Halo won a Best of CES Award from Parent Tested, Parent Approved, in addition to a CES Innovation Award at a show that featured more than 4,000 exhibitors and some of the world’s biggest and most well known brands.

Ben Stagg, Halo Smart Labs, CEO and Co-Founder, was thrilled with the two accolades. “We started Halo Smart Labs with the singular focus of saving people’s lives, so to be recognized by two prestigious organizations like CES, and Parent Tested, Parent Approved, is both an honor and confirmation that we are headed down the right path as we launch our company.”

At the International Builders Show, Halo Smart Labs was awarded The Best Indoor Living Product, in a show with more than 2000 exhibitors. Awards were given to exhibitors with a product that shows the best combination of design, functionality and innovation, as well as its usefulness to consumers and/or home builders.

Chad White, Chief Sales Officer and Co-Founder thinks this award is particularly significant. “Builders and developers are a key channel for Halo Smart Labs so to be recognized by their national organization, the National Association of Home Builders, is both an honor and a huge boost to our sales efforts.”

Halo and Halo+ will be available via online and retail sales from May, at Lowe’s Home Improvement, Amazon and halosmartlabs.com.
