Guala Closures participated in the annual 'Unified Wine & Grape Symposium', the largest wine & grape industry trade show in North America, which took place in Sacramento from January 23rd to January 25th.
Again this year the focus was on screwcaps for wine customized with the use of the GCDS digital printing machine and on premium solutions such as our patented WAK®, which combines a unique technology with a traditional look: the thread, not visible from the outside, gives to the closure a smooth and elegant appearance.
During the exhibition, the first aluminum smart closure for wine has also been unveiled: e-WAK® is the first NFC closure dedicated to the wineries, allowing them to start a 1 to 1 relationship with their end consumers.
