Goldstein Group Communications (www.ggcomm.com), a leading business-to-business lead generation and branding agency, announced that it shares a 2013 Gold MarCom Award for a product launch/marketing campaign with its client Keithley Instruments, a leading manufacturer of electronic test instruments. The winning campaign, called "Touch, Test, Invent," launched Keithley's Model 2450 SourceMeter® Source Measure Unit (SMU) Instrument. It is the industry's first benchtop SMU with a capacitive touchscreen.

The marketing components of the launch included a microsite (www.touchtestinvent.com), videos, web banner advertising, paid search advertising, face-to-face appointments with media, live remote product demonstrations, brochures, white papers and collateral. Goldstein Group assisted Keithley's internal marketing team with many elements of the program.

The "Touch, Test, Invent" theme line supports the corporate brand message of empowering engineers and scientists in ways that make it easier for them to invent and innovate. In addition, it provides a robust platform for product feature messaging, including the ability to "reach out and touch your data," and an easy-to-learn user interface that helps novice users master the instrument quickly and complete testing faster.

MarCom Awards is an international competition for marketing and communications professionals. Corporate marketing departments and agencies submit their creative work for judging each year. There were about 5,000 entries in 2013.

"Having work recognized by other marketing professionals as among the best in the world is truly gratifying," said Mark Johnson, Goldstein Group's account manager who coordinated the agency's involvement with the campaign. "It recognizes the high levels of skill and experience needed to create a marketing campaign that resonates with the engineering community we targeted."

Goldstein Group Communications, a technology b-to-b agency, brings an unusual combination of corporate communications management and engineer-level writing capability to its national client roster. With deep experience in electronics and industrial markets, the agency is able to draw on its skills to articulate with impact and clarity the technical advantages its clients bring to their customers. Unlike other agencies, staff members for the most part have built their careers on the corporate side of the desk, rather than as agency executives, a perspective that results in a higher level of accountability and measurability in the agency's programs.
