SINGAPORE (AP) _ Flex Ltd. (FLEX) on Thursday reported fiscal third-quarter earnings of $208 million.

On a per-share basis, the Singapore-based company said it had profit of 41 cents. Earnings, adjusted for stock option expense and non-recurring costs, were 49 cents per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 37 cents per share.

The electronics designer and manufacturer posted revenue of $6.72 billion in the period, also surpassing Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $6.25 billion.

For the current quarter ending in March, Flex expects its per-share earnings to range from 32 cents to 38 cents.

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $5.6 billion to $6 billion for the fiscal fourth quarter.

Flex shares have fallen almost 4% since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 35% in the last 12 months.
