Students, parents, teachers, and other school choice advocates will celebrate school choice at an information and celebration day, beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27 at White Memorial United.

This event is planned to coincide with the history-making celebration of National School Choice Week 2018, which will feature more than 32,000 school choice events across all 50 states.

“Arkansas is positioned to create some school choice programs that will be wonderful for the children of our state,” said Virginia Walden Ford. “Our Family Fun Day during NSCW will be a great opportunity to gather families together to celebrate education and to raise their voices in support. We are excited to have an opportunity, during NSCW, to bring parents, children, supporters, educators and legislators together to celebrate current and future quality educational programs to the state of Arkansas.”

White Memorial Youth Ministry and the Parent Information Network will be hosting the event. White Memorial United is located at 2801 Wolfe St. in Little Rock.
