(Stock Code: 00895) VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT FURTHER DEVELOPMENT IN RELATION TO ISSUE OF DOMESTIC CORPORATE BONDS

This announcement is made voluntarily by Dongjiang Environmental Company Limited* (the
"Company").
Reference is made to the announcement dated 22 August 2013 and the circular dated 23 August
2013 of the Company in relation to proposed issue of domestic corporate bonds in the People's Republic of China (the "PRC", excluding Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, Macau Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China and Taiwan), as well as the announcement dated 10 October 2013 of the Company in relation to the poll results of the extraordinary general meeting on which the proposed issue of domestic corporate bonds and mandate to directors of the Company (the "Directors") in relation to the above matter were approved.
The board (the "Board") of Directors of the Company hereby notifies the shareholders of the Company that the first tranche of domestic corporate bonds in an aggregate principal amount of RMB350,000,000 will be issued on 1 August 2014 with a terms of 5 years at a tentative coupon rate of 6.5% to 7.5% (the actual coupon rate to be finalized on 31 July 2014). For details of the issue of domestic corporate bonds, please refer to the overseas regulatory announcement of the Company dated 29 July 2014.
