MARKET COMMENTARY
The DCI dipped by 0.03% to close the week at 6879.35 points while the FCI remained flat at 1547.29 points.
SeedCo was the sole gainer of the week, ticking up by 1 thebe to close at 185 thebe. Cresta was the biggest
loser of the week, shedding 2 thebe to close at 130 thebe.
Trading activity was muted for the short trading week due to the holidays with turnover amounting to BWP54,668 as 44,806 securities exchanged hands. BTCL (36%) and Seedco (36%) were the chief contributors to turnover.

Cresta cautionary update
Cresta Marakanelo Limited ("CML" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that it has entered into agreements with Phakalane Estates Proprietary Limited, Nectar Holdings Proprietary Limited and Real Time Services Proprietary Limited, for CML to lease Phakalane Golf Estate Hotel & Convention Centre ("Phakalane Hotel") and acquire certain hotel furniture, fittings and equipment for a consideration of P10,727,200. Phakalane Hotel is an established business in the hospitality industry, providing accommodation, conferencing facilities as well as food and beverages. The consideration was arrived at with reference to an independent valuation of the moveable assets and is payable over a 24-month period. The lease includes the golf course and will be for a period of 10 years with an option to renew for further 10-year periods. The agreements are subject to regulatory approval; therefore, the effective date of the transaction is expected to be 1 February 2021. Accordingly, shareholders and investors are advised to exercise caution when trading in the Company's shares.

BIHL closed period announcement
Preparation for the BIHL December 2020 full-year results has started and it is expected to continue until March 09, 2021 where after the results will be published. BIHL declared a closed period from January 01, 2021 to March 09, 2021. During this period, members of the BIHL Board and staff of BIHL are expected to refrain from carrying out any transaction related to the BIHL shares as it could be implied that they are aware of unpublished price sensitive information. Unpublished price sensitive information is information affecting the company, which if released, is likely to materially affect the company's share price. Members of the BIHL Board and BIHL staff are therefore expected to have finalized their trading in BIHL shares by December 31, 2020. It is
