Roanoke, VA - City offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 15, for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday. As a result, the following schedule will be in effect for collection of trash, bulk, brush, and 'B' week recycling:

Residential/Commercial:

All residential/commercial solid waste and recycling collection will be delayed one day:

  • Monday - trash, bulk, brush and 'B' week recycling to be collected on Tuesday.
  • Tuesday - trash, bulk, brush and 'B' week recycling to be collected on Wednesday.
  • Wednesday - trash, bulk, brush and 'B' week recycling to be collected on Thursday.
  • Thursday - trash, bulk, brush and 'B' week recycling to be collected on Friday.
