BEIJING, July 4 (Reuters) - China's President Xi Jinping made a congratulatory call to incoming European Council President Antonio Costa, Chinese state media reported on Thursday.
Xi said that China was willing to work with Costa to deepen strategic communication, enhance mutual understanding and political trust, the report said.
