Latest seasonally adjusted data (at current prices) compiled by the Central Statistical Bureau of Latvia show that, compared to October 2013, manufacturing turnover in November 2013 increased by 3.1%, of which by 3.2% in domestic market and by 2.9% in export.

As compared to the previous month, the most notable turnover increase was recorded in manufacture of other transport equipment (building of ships and boats, manufacture of railway locomotives and rolling stock) - of 52% (increase in both markets), in manufacture of fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment - of 19.8% (growth in both markets), and in manufacture of other electrical equipment - of 10.9% (rise in export and drop in domestic market).

In comparison with October, turnover decline was observed in manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products - of 6.6% (drop of 16.3% in export and rise of 13.4% in domestic market), in repair and installation of machinery and equipment (repair and maintenance of ships and boats, repair of fabricated metal products, machinery and equipment, installation of industrial machinery and equipment)  - of 6.4% (reduction in export of 71.1% and growth in domestic market of 24.1%), and in manufacture of textiles - of 6.4% (decline of 12.9% in export and increase of 4.9% in domestic market). 

Compared to November 2012, manufacturing turnover in industry grew by 5.5%, according to calendar adjusted data. Rise was mainly influenced by the domestic market - increase of 12.2%, while export indicated a drop of 2.3%.
