Secretary General of the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) Dr. Saud Al Meshari received in his office HE the Ambassador of Ghana to Saudi Arabia, Taher Bembali, where the two discussed ways to foster trade and investment relations between the two countries.

Al Meshari started the meeting by noting the special Saudi-Ghanaian relations, conveying Saudi investors' interest to explore Ghana's market as per the Saudi Vision 2030s, whose goals entail fostering Saudi exports. He stressed the significant role of the Saudi and Ghanaian business communities in this regard, expressing CSC's willing to assist in any capacity when necessary.

For his part, Mr. Bembali expressed that Ghana, too, is keen on fostering economic relations with the Kingdom, especially considering the two countries' political and diplomatic relations, which date back to the early 1960s. He shed light on Ghana's strategic geographic location and the promising opportunities it offers investors in various sectors, including mining, gold, oil, gas, tourism, economic regions, and Islamic banking. He additionally mentioned the incentives Ghana offers to foreign investors, encouraging Saudis to explore these opportunities firsthand.

The meeting discussed organizing business delegations between the two countries to further explore cooperation opportunities between their respective business communities.
