“The MLAs were created to recognize the top products in the library industry in a truly unbiased format,” said Jenny Newman, publisher and MLA program manager. “Products are batched into small groups and sent to the LibraryWorks database of more than 80,000 librarians at public, K-12, academic, and special libraries. Only customers with experience with these products in their facilities were permitted to judge the products, resulting in a truly unbiased score.”

Bibliotheca’s recent acquisition of 3M Library Systems has helped to bolster an already impressive product line-up, ensuring librarians have supportive and dynamic solutions throughout their libraries. In 2016, Bibliotheca will continue to harmonize the company’s award-winning product offerings that both librarians and patrons rely on and enjoy using.

“What makes the MLAs particularly exciting is that they are judged by the librarians using our products, and we are thrilled to offer this robust portfolio of library solutions to our customers,” said Matt Tempelis, Bibliotheca President of the Americas. “We look forward to showcasing these products at the ALA Midwinter meeting, and to continue our commitment to creating innovative and high-quality products for libraries across the globe.”

Bibliotheca will be located at booth #1353 at the ALA Midwinter Meeting, where meeting attendees can interact with a variety of solutions, including: smartlocker, smartserve, 3M SelfCheck QuickConnect and return and sorting solutions. Representatives will be available to discuss Bibliotheca’s complete portfolio of solutions.
