LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Jan 15, 2014) -  Australian vocalist and songwriter Vince Gelonese (www.gelonesemusic.com) is living "Every Dream" an emerging indie artist could have, starting 2014 by leaping 12 spots over the latest smashes by superstars Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Pink/Nate Reuss and Lady Gaga to hit the Top 20 of the FMQB AC40 Chart.

Currently at #16, Gelonese's infectious and romantic debut single is just behind new singles by Avicii, Katy Perry, One Direction, Sara Bareilles and Justin Timberlake. It is also tied for #2 most added AC track (10 adds) with Lorde's "Team," Colbie Caillat's "Hold On" and Kanisha K's "My Another Day."

"Every Dream" was an immediate sensation last summer, ultimately reaching #4 on Billboard's Hot Singles Sales chart and remaining on the chart for more than 20 weeks. At the end of 2013, the track made an unexpected re-entry on the chart, just under Lady Gaga's "Applause" at #24.

Gelonese has just released a part performance, part romantic storyline video for "Every Dream."

The Italian-born singer-songwriter, who started out as a rocker in high school and later took private classical and opera training, is primed to follow in the footsteps of other greats who emerged from Australia, like The Bee Gees, Kylie Minogue and Air Supply. Interestingly, while Gelonese is quickly becoming known as an artist in the U.S., he is still relatively under the radar back home.

Gelonese already has several follow-up singles in the works. His marketing consultant, Steve Pina of Los Angeles based Omni Entertainment, quickly hooked him up to collaborate in the studio with veteran songwriter/producer Ronnie King, who has worked with Mariah Carey, The Offspring, Kottonmouth Kings, the Hawaiian rock band Pepper, 2Pac and Snoop Dogg.
