Yumna Ebrahim

Ms. Yumna Ebrahim is an Economist at Econometrix (Pty) Ltd.
Her work at Econometrix includes project based work, consumer market research, as well as macroeconomic analysis She began her career working as a demand forecaster in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods Industry.
This experience allowed her to glean first hand insights into the South African retail industry.
Her passion for economics led her to further her studies in development economics, and on qualifying, she joined KPMG Advisory where she was involved in advising both private and government sector clients on a variety of economic issues, including insights on economic impact analysis and also issues related to the growth of the rail industry in Southern Africa.
Ms. Ebrahim holds a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Johannesburg.
