Mr. William Bingler is an Advisor at Michelle Applebaum Research, Inc. Previously, he joined United States Steel Corp.
in Pittsburgh, where he worked until early 1969, when he was transferred to the United States Steel and Carnegie Pension Fund in New York City.
He remained there as financial analyst and portfolio manager until 1981, when he left to join Salomon Brothers.
Starting there as an institutional salesman, he rose to become head of New York sales and then head of global equity sales.
He was named a Managing Director in 1990 and he retired in 1998, one year following the merger of Salomon Brothers and Travelers Insurance.
Mr. Bingler graduated from Lehigh University in 1965 with a B.S.
in economics, and from Harvard University in 1967 with a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
He currently lives in Castle Rock, Colorado and Steamboat Springs, Colorado with his wife, his three grown children and three grandchildren.
