Vegard Bakken Nilsen

Mr. Vegard B.
Nilsen is a Chief Executive Officer at Securis Investment Partners LLP.
He is on the Board of Directors at Securis Investments Ltd.
He joined Securis in July 2005, a few months prior to Securis launching their flagship fund.
He joined as Chief Operating Officer and has since been responsible for all operational aspects of the business and building out the Securis infrastructure.
In April 2018, he was appointed on his current role and in this capacity he has the day-to-day responsibility for all aspects of the firm’s business in London and other offices.
He has responsibility for determining the strategy, vision, direction and culture of Securis.
He is a Partner and member of the Management Committee.
He joined Securis from Orn Capital LLP, a London based multi strategy alternative asset manager.
Prior to that he worked for nearly two years at a London based start-up long/short equity manager, overseeing the company’s formation, regulatory registration, and then through to trading.
He graduated from the Norwegian School of Management.
