Profile

Prior to his CIO role, Mr. Hanly was the chief financial officer from 1999 to 2003 and was responsible for overseeing Russell's global finances.
From 2000 to 2003 he also served as chairman of Russell/Mellon.
Previously, he served as a director of Russell's private equity operation.
Prior to joining Russell in 1997, he was a vice president in J.P.
Morgan's Financial Institutions Group, where he served as the investment banking division's expert on the investment management industry.
Mr. Hanly began his career in finance with Heller Financial, a subsidiary of Fuji Bank Ltd., where he was a portfolio analyst.
Mr. Hanly serves as a trustee on the board of the Tacoma Art Museum, is a member of the board of directors for the Foss Waterway Development Authority, and serves on the board of governors of the Fred Hutchinson Business Alliance.
