Thomas Abraham

Tom founded his own advisory and consulting practice, Shadwell Advisory LLC, in 2013, and is now resident in Boulder CO, after spending approximately 17 years outside the US primarily in the UK and Japan.
He is currently exploring creation of new financial technology initiatives through acquisitions to provide: -Middle office and post-trade processing services in asset and wealth management.
-Managed services for client-onboarding to address regulatory and compliance requirements.
He serves on the Advisory Board of Essentia Analytics, a start-up applying principles of behavioral finance to improving portfolio manager investment decisions, and is advising another start-up focused on big data analytics of consumer activity on the internet.
He has recently worked on market expansion alternatives for an investment platform business based in US, and another based in the UK.
He has also worked with a US-based financial services processing firm to explore creation of a new business to provide client on-boarding on a managed service basis to address increasing regulatory and compliance demands.
Tom served as CEO for DST Global Solutions, a London-based subsidiary of DST Systems (NYSE listed), from 2007 to 2012.
He restructured the entire business in the face of the financial crisis.
He led two acquisitions, one of which, Bluedoor, is a leader in investment platform solutions in Australia and is now be expanding into the UK.
Global Solutions has approximately 300 clients in over 30 countries focused on distribution platforms and the middle and back offices of asset managers and their service providers.
Tom has authored over 40 articles on various subjects in capital markets and securities services, and spoken at numerous conferences in financial services.
He relocated from London to Boulder CO with his wife, Lari, and their three children at the beginning of 2013.
