Profile

Prior to joining Battelle Venture Partners, Ms. Jantzen obtained a wealth of experience in capital beginning in 1998.
As Controller for Early Stage Enterprises, L.P, she was responsible for financial reporting to ESEs Limited Partners and managed the annual audits performed for the Limited Partners and the Small Business Administration.
She consults with portfolio companies on financial forecasting and business modeling.
She regularly attends industry-related conferences on GAAP and tax compliance and other venture capital issues.
She began her career as an Internal Auditor for the McGraw-Hill Companies in Dubuque, IA in 1989.
After two years, she transferred to the tax department and was promoted to Tax Manager.
In 1997, Ms. Jantzen was transferred to the corporate headquarters office in New York, where she worked as a Senior Tax Accountant in the Federal Income Tax Group of McGraw-Hill.
Ms. Jantzen received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and is a Certified Public Accountant.
