Mr. Stefan Schiman is a Senior Economist at Österreichisches Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung.
He has been working in the Research Group "Macroeconomics and European Economic Policy" since 2012, mainly in the field of business cycle monitoring and forecasting.
Since 2015 he has also been a lecturer on business cycle analysis at the University of Applied Sciences of BFI Vienna.
In the field of academic business cycle research, his focus is on the application and development of VAR models to the labor market and monetary policy issues.
