imon is a Partner of GP Bullhound, which he joined in 2011 and where he is one of Europe’s most active advisers to high growth technology, digital media and internet companies, particularly in the digital marcoms and adtech arenas where he has led more than 20 transactions.
With a career spanning 20 years focused on these sectors, Simon has advised on a wide range of M&A and capital markets transactions.
He has advised on transactions in digital media, e-commerce, adtech, mobile applications, consumer internet, data analytics, digital and diversified marketing & communications, broadcasting, video on demand, television production, professional and business information, consumer publishing and music.
Simon started his banking career at UBS Warburg in London, where he advised on large-cap international media & internet transactions.
He then went on to be a managing director at Ingenious Corporate Finance, the M&A advisory business of the Ingenious Media Group.
He qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte & Touche and is a graduate of Durham University.
