Mr. Simon W.
Gumkowski, CFA, is a Vice President & Portfolio Manager at Opus Investment Management, Inc. He is primarily responsible for helping manage various client portfolios, within the short and intermediate duration strategies.
He is also responsible for research and trading of the municipal bond sector and the asset-backed securities sector.
Prior to joining Opus in 2017, Mr. Gumkowski was employed with the State of Florida, Division of Treasury as a short duration portfolio manager, and prior to that at HIMCO as a municipal bond analyst.
He received his BA degree from Southern Connecticut State University and a MPA degree from the University of Connecticut.
