Dr. Scott E.
Hrastar
is Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Mosley Ventures LLC.
Dr. Hrastar was previously employed as Senior Vice President by Internap Network Services Corp.
He co-founded and sold AirDefense to Motorola and was later a member of the senior management team that drove the acquisition of Intellisync by Nokia.
While at Nokia, he focused on technology strategy and M&A, successfully acquiring several mobility companies during his tenure.
Dr. Hrastar began his entrepreneurial career as part of the start up executive teams at Pathfire and then security company Lancope.
Prior to that, Dr. Hrastar spent significant time at Scientific-Atlanta and was the Chief Architect and inventor of a number of fundamental cable modem technologies.
Dr. Hrastar holds a B.S.E.E.
degree from the Ohio State University, where he graduated as a Presidential Honor Scholar, and M.S.
and Ph.D.
degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
