Mr. Rob Drijkoningen is Managing Director & Co-Head of Emerging Markets at Neuberger Berman Europe Ltd.
He has over 33 years of industry experience.
Mr. Drijkoningen worked at ING Investment Management for almost 18 years, most recently as the Global Co-Head of the Emerging Markets Debt team responsible for managing over $16 billion in assets.
He began his career at ING Investment Management as a senior investment manager for global fixed income.
In January of 1997, he became Global Head of the Emerging Markets Debt team and in 2004 was named Global Head of the Emerging Markets Debt and High Yield teams.
From 2007 through 2009, he created and led ING Investment Management’s Multi-Asset Group in Europe, managing mandates across asset classes including fixed income, equities, real estate and commodities.
In 2009 he was named Global Head of Emerging Markets, with responsibility for both emerging markets equity and debt strategies.
Prior to joining ING Investment Management, he worked on the sell-side at Nomura and Goldman Sachs.
Mr. Drijkoningen holds a degree in Macro Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and has authored numerous articles on emerging markets debt subjects.
He is DSI Qualified.
