Rick C. Kieser

Prior to founding Clean Wave Ventures, Mr. Kieser was a successful venture capitalist with a leading Midwest-based venture firm (located in Cincinnati, OH with $350 million under management).
He completed numerous equity financings in early stage corporations located throughout the Midwest specializing in technology enabled business services, utility and advanced material industries.
He actively assisted portfolio companies to improve corporate governance, establish growth strategies (both organic and acquisition), optimize resource allocation and complete liquidity planning.
Mr. Kieser is experienced in the planning and execution of a variety of liquidity events including IPOs, M&A transactions and redemptions.
Prior to venture capital, his professional background is in management consulting and corporate finance.
Mr. Kieser has been President of the Greater Cincinnati Venture Association (2004-2006) and has served a number of industry related not-for-profit organizations including University Cincinnati Center for Entrepreneurship Advisory Board (since 2003) and UCLA Anderson Alumni Executive Committee (2004-2006).
Mr. Kieser was an intercollegiate athlete at UCLA and is an avid fitness enthusiast.
He enjoys traveling and is married with three children.
