Mr. Cannistraro joined Silvercrest Asset Management as a Senior Advisor as a result of Silvercrest’s acquisition of Ten-Sixty Asset Management where he was a Founding Partner and Chief Investment Officer.
Mr. Cannistraro began his career with Bankers Trust as an Analyst covering the paper and forest products industry, then as Head of Investment Process & Planning and later served as Associate Research Director.
Recognized for his expertise, he was selected by Alan Greenspan to serve as a Managing Director at the formation of Greenspan, O’Neil Associates.
At Greenspan, O’Neil, he began to develop the links between the economic cycle and the investment markets.
When Mr. Greenspan joined the Federal Reserve in 1987, he joined Amivest Capital Management as Chief Investment Officer.
At Amivest, he developed a top-down investment process, as well as a successful fund of funds program.
Amivest was purchased by NorthFork Bancorp in 1998 and Mr. Cannistraro founded Ten-Sixty Asset Management.
