Prior to joining Brencourt, Mr. Demiral was a Vice President at ING Furman Selz Asset Management, where he was a research analyst in the firm’s Arbitrage Department, which included the management of over $1 billion in customer assets through Taurus Partners, L.P.
and Taurus Capital International, Ltd.
Prior to Taurus, he was a Financial Analyst in the Mergers, Acquisitions and Corporate Advisory Department at Deutsche Banc Alex Brown (“Deutsche Bank”) from 1997 to 1999, where he worked on a variety of corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, restructurings, and IPOs.
Mr. Demiral was promoted to Associate at Deutsche Bank prior to joining ING Furman Selz Asset Management.
Mr. Demiral completed the Management and Technology program at the University of Pennsylvania with honors in 1997.
He received a BS in Economics from The Wharton School with majors in Finance and Strategic Management and a BS in Engineering from the School of Engineering and Applied Science with a major in Systems Engineering.
Mr. Demiral received the Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA”) designation.
He is a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts.
