Mr. Oliver Jennings joined Barclays Private Equity in September 2002 from Bank of America, where he was Head of Infrastructure Project Finance - Asia Pacific.
Based in Hong Kong his remit covered the Asia-Pacific region and included the development of the infrastructure advisory and lending business.
Oliver has extensive experience of a number of PPP/PFI sectors including DBFO roads, light rail, heavy rail, waste water, accommodation, leisure and project refinancings.
He joined Price Waterhouse in 1997 from Bayerische Landesbank and became a director in Project Finance Advisory in 1998.
Mandates have included advising the shareholders on the refinancing of the Fazakerley Prison project, advising the preferred bidder on the Colchester Garrison PFI, advising a bidder on the High Speed Rail Link project in the Netherlands, advising UK Highways on their bid for the Newport SDR DBFO Road project and advising a client on the valuation and subsequent sale of its 35% equity stake in a DBFO Road concessionaire.
He joined Bank of America in 2000.
Mr. Oliver Jennings has a degree in civil engineering and a postgraduate management degree from Cranfield School of Management.
He is a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a Chartered Engineer.
