The firm is a subsidiary of Allianz of America, Inc., and their ultimate parent is Allianz AG (NYSE: AZ). Founded in 1998 by Arthur J. Samberg, Pequot Capital Management Inc. is a hedge fund manager headquartered in Wilton, Connecticut with offices in New York City and Los Angeles. They manage the Pequot Family of Funds.
