Mr. Asch joined Wedbush in October 2010.
He started his own research driven Broker-Dealer, Asch Dwyer Municipal Securities, in 1989.
His firm traded over one thousand different credits and successfully restructured both distressed health care and resource recovery debt in New Jersey.
He began his career at First Boston Corp.
in December 1982 and joined the municipal trading desk, concentrating on IDR's, PCR's, letters of credit backed, and hospitals.
He was a founding partner in 1984 of Emmett and Co., in Far Hills, New Jersey, a special situation broker dealer founded by the head of high yield trading at FBC, Christopher Emmett.
He went on to start the Institutional Municipal High Yield trading desk at Shearson Lehman Brothers, which he ran from 1986 to1989.
He has since worked in a variety of positions, all intimately involved with the trading, sales and underwriting of high yield securities.
Mr. Asch has a Bachelor of Arts degree in European History from Williams College, 1977.
