The firm concentrates on three business areas: (1) asset management in convertible bonds, (2) comprehensive wealth management and (3) the purchase and management of forests and agricultural holdings for private and institutional investors. OAM Köln GmbH (OAM) is the wholly-owned investment advisory subsidiary of Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie. AG & Co. KGaA, itself a subsidiary of Deutsche Bank AG (NYSE: DB) in Germany. Headquartered in Cologne, the firm traces their history to 1971 and manages mutual funds as well as segregated accounts for institutional clients. Their funds are administered by Oppenheim Fonds Trust GmbH.
