Mr. Araabi joined First Round Capital as a Venture Analyst in 2007.
Prior to First Round, he was part of the founding team at MySpace.com, where he led the site's early online marketing and customer acquisition efforts.
He left MySpace in 2004 to get his MBA at UCLA Anderson.
While at Anderson, Mr. Araabi founded ReachLogic, an online advertising optimization company that provided services to PartyPoker and True.com.
Previously, Mr. Araabi and the other MySpace founders had started ResponseBase, an online ad network that was acquired by Intermix Media in 2002.
He began his career as one of the earliest employees at Xdrive.com, helping drive over nine million people to register for the online storage service.
His areas of interest include online advertising, lead generation, social networking, digital media, and the implicit web.
Mr. Araabi graduated with high honors from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where he was a Dean's Scholar, a Price Center for Entrepreneurial Studies Fellow, and President of the Entrepreneur Association.
