Before that, Mathias has worked for Pöyry Consulting (today AFRY) advising industrial clients in Southeast Asia and Oceania with an emphasis on performance improvement, investment support, benchmarking, and corporate strategy.
Mathias studied wood science and technology at the University of Hamburg where he also obtained his doctorate in natural sciences.
