Mark Frates

Mr. Mark Frates is a Senior Associate at glendonTodd Capital LLC.
Prior to glendonTodd Capital, Mr. Frates served from 2009 to 2011 as Corporate Development and Strategy Manager at Energy Future Holdings Corp., a privately held energy company with a portfolio of competitive and regulated energy companies.
During his time at Energy Future Holdings Corp.
Mr. Frates led various financial performance improvement initiatives resulting in savings in excess of $20 million.
Prior to Energy Future Holdings Corp., Mr. Frates served as a Financial Analyst at Cotton Creek Capital Management, LLC where his responsibilities comprised all aspects of private equity including deal sourcing, company and industry research, due-diligence, transaction structuring, detailed financial modeling and management of various portfolio companies.
Prior to Energy Future Holdings Corp., Mr. Frates worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Citigroup Global Markets, Inc. from 2007 to 2008 where he supported capital raising and M&A advisory services within multiple industry sectors.
At Citigroup Global Markets, Mr. Frates served as a sell-side M&A advisor to Navini Networks on its $330 million sale to Cisco Systems.
Mr. Frates received a BA in Finance from Southern Methodist University in 2007 where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and with the honor of the 2007 Outstanding Finance Major award recipient.
