Marc Chouinard
Profile
Marc Chouinard has been appointed as the President of the Hbc Merchandising Group as of February 2005, responsible for merchandise planning, brand management, replenishment and marketing.
He was appointed to Executive Vice President of Hudson's Bay Company and President & Chief Operating Officer of the Bay in March 1999, overseeing operations, marketing and strategic direction of 99 Bay stores and 45 Home Outfitters stores across Canada.
Prior to joining Hudson's Bay Company, Marc was appointed to President of Bi-Way after serving as Senior Vice President.
Marc has also served as Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Bata Shoe Organization and he held senior executive positions in the financial, merchandising and marketing divisions of Woodward's Limited prior to his appointment as President & Chief Operating Officer.
Before Woodward’s, Marc was Vice President of Finance at Zellers.
Marc received his degree in Commerce from Concordia University and a Masters of Business Administration from McGill University.
