Lisa N. Tyson

Lisa Tyson joined Sequel Holdings in 2018 to oversee Sequel’s legal affairs.
Prior to joining Sequel, Ms. Tyson served as Sr. Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of Dean Foods Company (NYSE: DF) from 1998 to 2007.
While there, she actively managed the legal teams responsible for the acquisitions of over 70 businesses, as well as many strategic divestitures, including the spin-off of TreeHouse Foods (NYSE: THS), and a number of strategic alliances.
She acted as advisor to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors as it related to legal compliance and disclosure issues.
She also was responsible for managing the company’s securities offerings, as well as the company’s securities compliance and shareholder communications.
As Deputy General Counsel, she oversaw the company’s 10-attorney legal department as it handled the varied and complex legal affairs of the company and its numerous subsidiaries.
Prior to joining Dean, Ms. Tyson was an attorney at Winstead, P.C.
from 1991 to 1998.
She worked in the Corporate, Securities and Business Sections of the law firm, representing clients across a broad spectrum of industries.
Ms. Tyson graduated from The School of Law at the University of Texas in May 1991.
She also received a BBA in Finance in 1988 from West Texas A&M University.
After leaving Dean Foods, Ms. Tyson spent several years living in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, where she focused on a variety of entrepreneurial projects, including serving as a consultant to Dean Foods and other U.S.-based public companies on matters related to corporate and shareholder communications.
