Mr. Lewis M.
Taffer is Chief Marketing Officer at iGPS Co. LLC and Executive Officer at Pegasus Capital Advisors.
He is on the Board of Directors at InfoSpace, Inc. Mr. Taffer career was spent at American Express Company, where he held a series of management positions of increasing responsibility over 22 years, including head of the Gold Card and general manager of Amex’s Card business with the largest companies in the U.S.
He also launched the Membership Rewards Program, which became the world’s largest airline affinity card program under his leadership.
Prior to joining Pegasus, Mr. Taffer was Executive Vice President of Customer Acquisition at American Online, where he led acquisition activities for AOL’s full product suite in the U.S.
An attorney by training, Mr. Taffer spent his first four years as a legal aid lawyer in Pittsburgh, and then joined the staff of the Senate Banking Committee in Washington, where he authored several important federal statutes, including the Electronic Funds Transfer Act and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
