Profile

Dr. Lester Crawford was an Advisory Board of Prevail Partners LLC.
Prior to joining the company, Dr. Crawford was the Food and Drug Administration Commissioner.
He was also the Chair of the Department of Physiology-Pharmacology at the University of Georgia, the Administrator of the Food Safety and Inspection Service, and the Deputy Commissioner of FDA.
Dr. Crawford also served as the Director of Georgetown University's Food and Nutrition Policy and at Virginia Tech.
He also served as an advisor to the World Health Organization.
Dr. Crawford was a member of the National Academy of Sciences Institute of Medicine, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and the International Society of Food Science and Technology.
He was inducted into the French Academy of Veterinary Medicine, and was also given the Wooldridge Award - the highest award given by the British Veterinary Association.
Dr. Crawford finished his Doctor of Veterinary Medicin at Auburn University, and his PhD in Pharmacology at the University of Georgia.
He also received an Honorary Doctorate from Budapest University.
