Mr. Kevin P.
O'Brien, CFA, is a Vice President & Portfolio Manager at Sit Investment Associates, Inc. He is responsible for the trading and analysis of fixed income securities for the firm.
He joined the firm’s fixed income team in 2008 as a municipal bond trader.
He began his career with the firm in 1997 and served in the client administration department for three years before joining the equity research team in 2000.
His work in equities included trading domestic and international securities while also performing quantitative research.
He earned a master’s degree in strategic studies from the U.S.
Army War College and a master’s degree in management from the University of Maryland University College.
He earned B.A.
in economics and business administration, with a concentration in financial management, from the University of St. Thomas.
He is a CFA charter holder.
