Mr. Allen is a co-founder of 5280 Partners in 2000.
Prior to forming 5280 Partners in December 2000, Mr. Allen was the Vice Chairman and CEO of Rifkin & Associates, Inc., a privately held owner and operator of US-bases Cable television systems.
Between 1996 and 1999, he directed all of Rifkin's capital formation and merger and acquisition efforts, raising well over $1 billion of debt and equity capital and completing ten separate acquisitions of cable television system groups representing over 250,000 customers.
Before joining Rifkin & Associates, he worked for eight years as an investment banker with BT Securities Corporation (an affiliate of Bankers Trust Company) and Prudential-Bache Capital Funding.
Mr. Allen received his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado.
