Ms. Long has extensive experience as an international business lawyer.
Immediately prior to joining Tano Capital in 2007, she spent several years in private legal practice in the San Francisco Bay Area, representing private equity and high technology clients.
From 2000-2001, she was general counsel of Citadon, Inc., a leading provider of Internet solutions for the real estate and construction industries.
From 1999-2000, she served as general counsel and vice president of regulatory affairs of BCN Data Systems, an international joint venture between Bechtel Enterprises and CellNet which marketed and deployed CellNet's automated meter reading cellular technology globally.
From 1995-1998, she practiced law in Taipei and Hong Kong as a Senior Associate in the China Practice Groups of Perkins Coie and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison.
From 1991-1995, she was a senior business lawyer with Consolidated Freightways, a NYSE-listed trucking and air freight company.
She started her legal career at McCutchen Doyle Brown & Enersen and Morrison & Foerster, in their corporate and secured lending/ project finance groups.
Ms. Long earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1975, with a major in East Asian Studies.
She received a Juris Doctor degree from the Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii in 1983.
She was the Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review.
She speaks, reads and writes Mandarin Chinese.
